Child & Accompanying Guest Policy:
We understand bringing a child or guest to your appointment may be convenient; however at Sweetwater Institute of Cosmetology BOTH present a safety and crowding hazard. We are at maximum capacity with enrolled students and a guest per student.
We do not have space to allow for a companion or accompanying child;
nor the space for strollers, infant carriers, or minor children that may require assistance. Our students are working in close quarters with sharp implements, very hot tools, various chemicals, and other equipment. We do not have an area set aside for childcare, nor staff/students designated for childcare. Our students are trying their very best to learn and demonstrate professional skills. Out of respect for our guests that would appreciate a student's full attention; and, in compliance with insurance codes-
we will have to reschedule any appointment that fails to comply with "no guest/ no accompanying child" policy

A primary focus of a school is to ensure an education.  The absolute primary focus of SIC is not only to provide an education~ but to provide experience.  We strive daily to make sure that you are not only ready to successfully complete your licensing exam, but that you have learned necessary skills and coupled that to your talent and determination to succeed in your chosen career.

-We are accredited by NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences)

-Authorized by THEC (Tennessee Higher Education Commission)

-Approved by the Federal Department of Education as a Title IV post-secondary institution

These standards ensure that you are receiving an education that not only meets minimum standards for the industry; but excelling beyond the minimum to ensure our students are given every opportunity to rapidly succeed in their industry.

Classes are available for Cosmetology (1500 hours) and Manicuring (600 hours)

Our Courses:

Cosmetology: 1500 hours (approximately 11 months). Students will learn everything hair! Perms, color, cuts, styling... as well as manicures, nail enhancements, facials, and much more.

Tuition: $12,000. Books & Kit: $1,500. Admin fee: $100

Manicuring: 600 hours (approximately 4 months) Students learn all aspects of manicuring, pedicuring, and nail enhancements.                                                   Tuition: $4,900. Books & Kit: $1000. Admin fee: $100​
